Privacy policy

This policy explains how Platify (“Platify”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our WhatsApp service, our website at platify.in and the property pages we host. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Brokers: your WhatsApp number and profile name, and any profile details you choose to add (name, company, logo, photo, bio, areas served).
• Listings: the messages, photos and property details you send to our WhatsApp number to create or update listings.
• Buyers and tenants: the name and phone number entered when booking a site visit.
• Website enquiries: the details you send us through the contact form or email.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, device and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

• To turn the details you send into property pages, collections and your broker page.
• To reply to you on WhatsApp — confirmations, links, booking notifications and visit reminders.
• To let buyers book site visits and to share those bookings with the broker concerned.
• To respond to enquiries, provide support and keep the service secure.

We use automated tools, including AI models, to organise listing details and draft property descriptions. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

What is public

Property pages, collection pages and broker pages are public web pages that anyone with the link can view. They show the property details and photos you send, and your broker profile and contact details. Buyer details from site-visit bookings are never shown publicly.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run Platify — for example Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) for messaging, and cloud providers for hosting, databases and file storage — under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Archived listings are hidden from public pages and retained for your records until you ask us to delete them. Site-visit details are kept only as long as needed for the booking and related follow-up.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@platify.in. We'll respond within a reasonable time and in any case as required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and verified WhatsApp numbers to protect your data. Only the registered WhatsApp number of an account can change that account's listings.
